June 10, 2021 at 08:55PMHappy pride! 🌈 I miss marching in SF Pride parade. Apple TV has a incredible aerial screensaver. There are two stunning videos of a flyover of the Ferry Building and Mission Street at dawn/dusk that remind me of early morning ferry rides to SF Pride. Best Ferry mates ever, second are SF Giants Ferry rides. There’ might even be a photo on one #goldengateferry of us #goldengatebridge board of directors that christened the boat back then. You might recognize me in the group. Excited to see how Pride is celebrated this year, and remembering how we got here. Love is love. I was raised and bore children on the traditional, unceded and stolen lands of the Coast and Central Valley Miwok (colonized as Petaluma, CA) and Nisenan (colonized as Sacramento and Fair Oaks, CA), past, present, and future. I also write, work, and live in the rugged, highland forest of the traditional, unceded and stolen lands of the Mixetec Ñuu Savi (people of the rain) and Zapoteco Ben’Zaa (people of the clouds), past present and future, in what is known as Oaxaca, Mexico.
