Will you receive her today? The rhythm of your Flow awakens her from her stillness as you walk the edge of between She feels your movement finding your footing rooting, grounding in your rhythm Keep moving, pushing through the discomforts of all that wants to pull your gaze away from locking eyes with her She is waiting for you, under the event horizon in the center of your galaxy Breathe. And the bubbles become a whoosh And she rises to meet you . . . I was raised and bore children on the traditional, unceded and stolen lands of the Coast and Central Valley Miwok (colonized as Petaluma, CA) and Nisenan (colonized as Sacramento and Fair Oaks, CA), past, present, and future. I also write, work, and live in the rugged, highland forest of the traditional, unceded and stolen lands of the Mixetec Ñuu Savi (people of the rain) and Zapoteco Ben’Zaa (people of the clouds), past present and future, in what is known as Oaxaca, Mexico.
