Amish in the Industrialized World, a Grange Presentation at the Petaluma Palooza, Saturday September 21 at 2pm

Petaluma Community Guildrs Amy & Jim Crawford recently spent three weeks with an Amish community in Illinois and found it an eye-opening experience in ways they could not have predicted.

Join us at the Petaluma Palooza, 2pm on Saturday, September 21 at the Petaluma Train Station and Arts Center, as Sonoma Pomona Chaplin Amy Crawford shares compelling images and surprising insights gleaned from this brief immersion in a very different way of life.  The choices faced by the Amish farming families they encountered, and the paths those families chose to travel, were fascinating and unexpected.
